Monday Raves: What’s Going Right in Your Life? April 29, 2013

Singing Saint Bernard puppies with birthday party hats

Happy Monday!  It’s a wonderful day to rave about what’s going right in your life. Celebration has been my theme for the past week, with lots of happy times to focus on. I hope you’ve had lots to enjoy this week.  If you need some inspiration to keep on smiling, watch this baby keep his chin up.

Here’s my list:

1. I loved celebrating my grandfather’s 91st birthday with him. Growing up  during the depression as he did, there were no birthday parities when he was a child.  He told me this was his first real birthday party.

2. I loved meeting and connecting with family members that I hadn’t seen for years or had never met. Hearing stories of the past and looking through old photographs made me smile.

3. I’m loving a long weekend and lots of family time.I love that I was able to spend time with my parents and my cousins. I love that my drive was easy. No traffic and smooth sailing all the way.

4. I loved having lunch with my best friend from grade school and her husband. They are so sweet to my kids. Her husband won stuffed animals out of the crane machine for all my kids. My kids got so spoiled by everyone in West Virginia.

5. I’m getting a ton of spam on my blog. I look at it as driftwood that my site is getting attention.

6. Good Vibe Astrology is teaching a astrology sex secrets class. How can it get better than that?  The first call is free, too!

7. We had so much fun at my kid’s school carnival. My oldest daughter did her community service and we had a blast with silly string and confetti eggs.

8. Crystal Nuding is taking action and creating #mildertexasweather. I love that she has decided what she wants to see and she is not afraid to create it, even climate change.

9. I love that my kids made pillows with their grandma this weekend like I did with my grandmother years ago.

10. I love that I’m enjoying my meditation times so much that I can’t wait to sit down and feel the energy flowing.

I’d love to hear what you are raving about this week. To prove it, I’m giving away one of my Angel Card readings (see service page) to one of my commenters during the month of April. I’ll put everyone’s name in random.org and choose a winner to be announced here around May 1st. Then I’ll email the winner with the details if I have access to their e-mail or you can check back here around the first and e-mail me if you’re the winner.

Wow! Your Grandpa’s 91st birthday party! What a blessing! I would of never guessed he was 91. He looks so much younger.

I loved being a part of such a beautiful gathering this weekend, united in a common goal.

I loved being a part of the love that was poured out from both the Ecuadorians and expats here.

I love being a part of such a beautiful, loving, powerful community.

I love how the Universe gave me the $10 I’d lost on Saturday morning. I got it back Saturday evening. Just found it.

I am so happy about the original painting we bought from a very talented artist. It is amazing! She incorporated sand from different sites like the pyramids, etc. We paid way less than it’s worth, at an auction.

I love that I’m waking up so early now, just by intention.

I love the weather here. Absolutely perfect!

I’m so grateful for all the superfoods that were gifted to us from some friends.

I love how the Universe always provides.

I loved the fantastic food we ate at our fun-raiser this weekend and that it was such a success. It feels good to be a part of positive movement.

Thanks for allowing me to rave!

    Love, Nina

  • I’ve had a wonderful week too Michelle, but what I’m really feeling appreciation for right now, in this moment, is your blog! I only signed up recently, but I’ve enjoyed every one–such a gentle, loving and insightful writers voice you have! Thank you 🙂

    Ease and flow,

Julie, thanks so much for your kind words. I’m glad you are enjoying it and I love having you here. Thanks for commenting. 🙂

well, Be Happy – one of my desert island discs that I have not heard in a long time- how fab is that…even seeing ‘magical words’ as the title to this comment box..how fab is that?? Lovley reminders thru and thru- I love the serene serendipity, courtesy of LOA that got me to sign up for this blog– how good can it get. I noticed since declaring ‘today is a good day’ each morning that UM is bringing me so much more to match that. yay!

  • Michelle Dobbins says:

Zannie, That is awesome! I love that question–how good can it get? The universe loves to answer it for us. Today is a good day! Thaks for stopping by and commenting. 🙂

  • Great post Michelle. Right in the middle of challenges I am reminded (by you) to celebrate the good. And of course as we do this, we appreciate it and more comes. Today I am celebrating and honoring all the good that comes my way and has come my way ( atleast all I can notice as I go along). This includes my family being in good health, although I am terribly busy, I must celebrate the fact that I am. It is so much better than the alternative. I celebrate my teachings from my business mentor, and my teachings from my meditation teacher they have changed my life. I can go on and on and I will to myself as I go throughout this day. Thank you for the wonderful post and reminder to celebrate.

    Craig

    • Michelle Dobbins says:

Thanks, Craig! I am dealing being busy right now, too. All I can do is keep up my mediaiton time, do one thing at a time and trust that the universe has my back and will help me out. Blessings for a fabulous week!
