You Can’t Fool The Universe

You might be able to fool strangers.

You might be able to fool friends.

You might be able to fool family.

You might even be able to fool yourself for a little while, but you can’t fool the universe.

If things aren’t going the way you want them to, you might want to look at how you really believe about certain subjects. Hint: Look around your life and you will get the answers. If you’re not really comfortable having money, chances are you won’t have much. If you don’t believe you deserve love, your relationships probably won’t last long. It’s ok though because  you can shift your thinking and your vibration and change your life.

It even works on little things. I remember when one of my children was going through a public tantrum stage and it mortified me to no end. I was embarrassed when she fell out on the floor in public. I felt like everyone was watching me and thinking what a horrible mother I was. Then, one day I just relaxed and decided not to judge either of us. It was ok for her to have a temper tantrum and I was going to step back and let her go for it. Of course, the minute I was mentally able to be OK with her tantrum, she stopped. It was magic.

Then, a few days later, she had another tantrum in public. I decided I would be OK with it, so she would stop again.  It didn’t work, because I wasn’t really OK with it that day, I was just pretending to be so that she would stop. It didn’t fool my daughter or the universe and she screamed on.  Luckily, the phase passed and/or I truly shifted my thoughts about it, but I still think about it when I wonder why I can’t change a certain circumstance in my life.

It helps me remember, I can’t fool the universe. I’m gong to get what I vibrate.  So, I stop and make peace with “what-is” as quickly as I can and relax, so that I can allow something else in.

My three ways to stop trying to fool ourselves are:

1. Notice what is happening.

2. Stop resisting what is happening.

3. Focus on what I want, not what I don’t want.

Have you noticed times when you tried to fool yourself or the universe about what you really believe? I’d love to hear how you shifted it or any comments you may have.  To prove it, I’m giving away a bottle of Stress Away Essential Oil blend to one of my commenters during the month of March. This is my favorite oil. It has a wonderful lime and vanilla scent and I wear it as “happy” cologne. I’ll put everyone’s name in random.org and choose a winner to be announced here around April 1st. Then the winner can e-mail me their mailing address to claim their prize. Watch this space as I’ll be changing up my give-aways this year. Some months it’ll be oils and maybe crystals and some months it will be some of my new products and classes that are coming soon!

I’m running a little behind due to my book launch next week, but I promise to select a winner latter this week and I’ll add anyone who comments between now and them in the pot.
