How to Manifest the Perfect House By Mollie Player

Molly Player

I’m so excited today to share a real manifesting story by Mollie Player.  She has a wonderful true law of attraction stories blog and she is an author of lots of books, another of her cool deliberate creations.

Here’s Mollie:

Some of you will remember that for most of 2012, my husband and I were searching for a house to buy. It had to be in a certain location that was close to his work. It had to be quiet. And it had to be affordable.

Everything else was negotiable.

We looked at some clunkers, and even made an offer on a few (well, okay, five or six, actually). We even compromised on the location at one point out of sheer desperation. I was pregnant, you’ll remember, and moving all of our stuff with a new baby did not sound like a very good time. Still, one by one, all of these near-definite deals fell through, and the market was on fire here in our part of the greater Seattle area, rocketing upwards on a monthly basis.

Finding a house, as it turns out, is hard work.

Still, we kept calm, and I kept saying my affirmations, and finally, the perfect opportunity came around–and this time, it worked out. We moved in on October 15, and since then have enjoyed our 1500-square foot mansion as much as anyone has ever enjoyed a home.

A month or so later while flipping through my affirmations journal, I found the following entries:

  • February 27: “I have the perfect house with lots of pine trees around it and vaulted ceilings.” Check and check.
  • May 2: “David and I are living in a beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood.” Yes and yes!
  • May 7: “Our new home is surrounded by very tall trees.” No doubt about that one.
  • July 6: “Dave and I have our perfect house.”

I can honestly tell you that we are right now living in the house I pictured in my mind when last year Dave and I first made the decision to buy: three bedrooms, two bathrooms, one floor, and in the perfect location with walking trails all around yet somehow close to everything we need, too. I feel a little like Goldilocks when I describe it: it’s not too big, it’s not too small–it’s just the right fit for us.

My gratitude is only slightly beaten out by my surprise.

Your friend in creation,

Mollie Player

We’d love to hear your comments or any manifesting stories you’d like to share.

How do you practice deliberate creation? I’d love to hear your comments. To prove it, I’m giving away one of my Angel Card readings (see service page) to one of my commenters during the month of June. I’ll put everyone’s name in and choose a winner to be announced here around July 1st. Then I’ll email the winner with the details if I have access to their e-mail or you can check back here around the first and e-mail me if you’re the winner.

Love and transformation,

I *love* real-life stories…they take the concepts we read and study and show how tangible possibility is!

I just manifested real-life living space for my children and I. I tap into the feel of what we would like overall, and let the “specifics” unfold. We had to leave our old space before a new one opened up, but I knew the perfect one was waiting–and I knew to tap into my trust in the process and not into the doubts of others.

What my mind kept fixating upon was the city that this existed in. After weeks of “no”, I couldn’t figure it out, and now here we are living in the exact feel of what we all wanted, but in a city closest to the beach (I didn’t know it existed here, it does!). What I wanted was space filled with light and fresh air and a space to host energy circles and create a garden….and this is what we moved into last week…complete with a raised deck with circular bench seating underneath an overhang of interwoven tree branches–perfect for an energy circle! So, I love this affirmation you are sharing…..possibility truly is this real…thank you for the reflection!

    • Joy, That’s a great true life story too. It reminds be of how Louis Hay once said she didn’t understand why she couldn’t find the right apartment she was looking for. It took her a lot longer to manifest than usual. Then, she found the perfect apartment but the building had just finished being built, so she had to wait for her perfect apartment to be created for her.

Hi Michelle, I just manifested The perfect place for us here in Vilcabamba. We’ve moved seven times since we moved here two years ago and almost every one of them was a great house, but still were missing some things I wanted. After just moving from a house that had no hot water in the kitchen sink, I realized I had to get specific with what I wanted. So while we were still living in the previous house, I started appreciating it so much, because there were so many wonderful qualities, and I also lightly intended what I wanted in my dream home. Within a couple of months things worked out so that we could get out of our contract easily and move into our new home. And it must be one of the nicest houses in Vilcabamba. It has everything I wanted, a tub, which hardly any house here has; A washer and dryer, which many homes don’t have; a huge refrigerator- our last one was so small I could barely fit all of our greens in; A big storage area; a big, beautiful stove, which most of the stoves here are small; two bathrooms, security, quiet; curtains on the windows- hardly any homes here have curtains; and comfortable furniture- it’s hard to find comfortable furniture around here- this furniture was imported from California. What I wanted was a house that was up to western standards and I got it, most of it imported from California. And it was so easy too. I think the key is being grateful for what you have already and lightly intending what you want knowing it’s coming, you don’t have to know how, just leave that up to the Universe.

    • Nina, that’ s a great manifesting story. You’re are so good at keeping things light and appreciating what you have to let things in easily. I’ve had that same experience that when you appreciate where you live now, it’s easy to find a new place. A few years ago, I manifested the perfect house when I wasn’t even trying to. I just had the thought that it would be nice to have a bigger house once our kids grew a little, since I wanted each of them to have their own space. At the time, I didn’t really think we were ready, but I just enjoyed the house we had then and pictured us enjoying a new house in the future. Well, the future came three months later. My husband found a house that was a foreclosure and it was perfect. We got it way below market value and our payments only went up by the cost that our kids preschool bill had been, and they had just graduated preschool, so our monthly bills didn’t change at all.

I love how good we all are at manifesting the perfect home! 🙂
