Map Your Vibration

Vintage magnifying glass, compass, telescope and a pocket watch

Ever wish you had one of the maps with the “you are here” sticker that shows you how you are vibrating?  Are you going in the right direction? Are you getting closer to your goals or are you even going in the right direction?

Abraham-Hicks talks about a person who is driving from one city to another. They don’t have a map and don’t realize that they are very close to their destination so they turn around and go back to the starting point. We can all be tempted to do this when we feel like we’ve shifted our vibration but nothing seems to be changing. It can be frustrating when we don’t realize how close we are to where we want to be. That’s when we want to map our vibration.

Just like in geography there are different types of maps that give different types of information. We need to use a few different maps to pinpoint our vibration.

3 Steps to Map Your Vibration:

1. Your Current Life Map:  Your current life situation actually maps out your past vibration. Your past vibration led you to where you are now. If you like it, then you want to focus on more of the same and even better.  If you don’t, work on changing your vibration by focusing on where you want to go, NOT where you are now.

2. Evidence Map: All signs of evidence that the things your want are coming show you what you are vibrating now. Often we call these driftwood.  If someone else around you gets what you want, you see what you want on TV, you get something close to what you want, or you almost get what you want, those are all evidence that you are going in the right direction. These are good signs that it’s on its way, so celebrate them. Hint: the more driftwood you notice the more you will experience.

3. Feelings Map: How do you feel most of the time?  This will tell you what is coming in the future UNLESS you are putting on a fake smiley face and making yourself believe you are happy when you aren’t.  If we are honest with ourselves, we know about how happy we are most of the time. Here’s the thing, if you are not happy don’t beat yourself up about it. That would totally of defeat the purpose because it certainly won’t make you more happy! Just try to feel a little bit better every day. Work your way up the scale. Even getting to a neutral place when you’ve been depressed or angry when you’ve been sad is a big improvement that will make changes.

It’s helpful to not resist your feelings and don’t tell yourself stories that create more negative feelings. Just let yourself feel your feelings and be there for yourself. Self love is one of the best ways to improve you vibration and it’s the topic of this Personal Alchemy interview I had with Alexandria Barker last week.

Where do you feel like you are right now? Remember you get to decide how you want to feel and what thoughts you want to focus on. I’d love to hear any thoughts you have about how you keep focused when you don’t know exactly how close you are to getting the next thing you are dreaming about.

    Hi Michelle 🙂
I really enjoy reading your blog posts and this was a very timely one! I needed this reminder.
As you mentioned, I don’t ever resist my feelings but if I know they are building and affecting me manifesting what I desire, then I use EFT to help shift the resistance. I like to call it, “cleaning up my vibration!”

Michelle, thank you for this great post that condenses the basics of manifestation!

Thanks for this post Michelle. This is really helpful. I especially like the idea of an evidence map. I can see how that would be a great way to help keep the focus on what you want instead of how it’s not here yet.
