Happy Monday! Hope everyone is starting a fabulous week!  Hope we all have lots have to rave about this week. The following video always lights me up and makles want to rave about how delightful this lady is. I hope to be this vibrant and alive at 105!

Anyone can learn about focusing on the positive from Edythe Kirchmaier. She’s a doll!

Here’s my list of raves for the week:

1. My sweet baby girl turned 7.  We had such a fun time celebrating with her at home and at Frankie’s Fun Park.

2. Got another new car.  Had a do-over with the one we bought a month ago that was smooth and easy.

3. Dropped my contest entry in the mail this morning for a picture book writing contest.  So far, I’ve kept up with my goal of submitting or entering one contest a month.

4. I finished a new rough draft of a picture book.

5. I get to have another interview, hopefully, this Friday on my blog.  The wonderful Crystal Nuding will be here soon.  If you have problem’s raving, she’s a pro and she does raving calls, so go check her out.

6. We spent Sunday visiting relatives and had a great day doing “nothing” with them.

7. All my kidlets did great on their progress reports.

8.   32 days until spring break!

9. A nice sunny day on Sunday to get some vitamin D.

10.  All of the wonderful people reading and checking out my blog!  Thanks so much!

Why do this every week?  Because you get more of what you focus on. I could make a list of 10 things that went wrong this week, but I”m not going to put my focus there.  We all need to make a habit of looking at what is going right in our lives.  If you are reading this you are alive and you have access to the internet, so there’s two to start you off.  Make your list.  I know we all have at least ten things we can rave about in our lives.  I’d love to hear what you are raving about. You can e-mail it to me or post here.  I love it  when you leave comments. To prove it, I’m giving away one of my Angel Card readings (see service page) to one of my commenters during the month of February. I’ll put everyone’s name in random.org and choose a winner to be announced here around February 1st. Then I’ll email the winner with the details if I have access to their e-mail or you can check back here around the first and e-mail me if you’re the winner. If you like my Facebook page in the box on the right side, I’ll put your name in twice.

That is an awesome list! Woots for new shoes, visiting new cities, hubby time, etc.! Yeah! Thanks for sharing. You put a big smile on my face. Sometimes hearing other people’s raves is even more delicious than out own. 🙂

    Here’s my list of Raves.
    1. We spent a wonderful day at the Tucson rodeo yesterday with family.
    2. I am having a incredible conversation with a lady from Canada today about my horse supplement.
    3. I am super excited about starting a new women’s networking group here in Tucson.
    4. We are experiencing an actual winter here in the desert….with snow and everything.
    5. The internet…well I love it. Connecting with people across the globe is so much fun. And if we stop and think about it it is AMAZING>
    6. I’ve started riding my young horse again and he is doing great under saddle. And I can feel my old riding skills coming back.
    7. Last night the full moon was incredible.
    8. I called direct TV about lowering my bill and I got $20 off per month, 6 months of a free movie channel and will be receiving a $200 visa gift card in the mail. Talk about Ask and it is Given. Whoo Hoo.
    9. My dog has gone blind because of an auto immune disease….but our connection has gotten deeper because I pay more attention to her on the walks. So I am raving about her acceptance and going with the flow to what is in her now…and my ability to appreciate it.
    10. I want to Rave about all the wonderful people I know.

Becky, I love your list! The internet is SO cool! If not for i,t I wouldn’t have met you! I love that you are connecting more with your dog. It’s wonderful when we find the blessings in things that might not seem good at first. 🙂

  • Very positive post. I like it a lot. And of course you are so right. Focus on the good and the positive and you get more good and positive. And as you so well point out, it is easy to do if you look for it. Also thank you so much for reading and commenting on my blog.

    Peace and blessings.

So glad to have found you (after so many years!) and hear about the wonderful things you have going on. Hmm, on second thought it couldn’t be THAT many years, could it?

At any rate, my son Joe and I were talking at dinner about weird things that happened in grade school, and I thought of you… remember the time in 1st grade when Ricky Hawkins was chasing you around saying he was the “baby eater”? I have vivid images of it. I can still even hear his voice in my mind. And I can hear the sound, and his subsequent scream, as I stapled two of his fingers together.

Not exactly a behavioral bright shining moment for me, but I still don’t regret it, either. What’s that say about me??!!

Good times, good times. Funny when I ask who I need to pray for or send reiki to, his name often pops up and I don’t think I’ve seen him since middle school. I’m glad we’ve gotten to reconnect, too and we won’t say how many years its been. 😉
