Monday Raves: What’s Going Right in Your Life? June 3, 2013

Excited Boston Terrier Dog

Happy Monday! Another brand new week full of opportunities to create whatever we desire. So, let’s set our intentions to experience the things that we want to and keep focusing on what going right. Here’s a beautiful mantra sung by Lola Jones, who taught me about raving.

Here’s my rave list for the week:

1. I love that we’ve decided to adopt a dog!  We’ve gone back and forth on this for a while, but our youngest child is seven now and we feel ready.  We made some fun trips to the humane society and are hoping to find a rescue dog that fits our family, but we are going to take our time and find the right pet for our family.  It will be joining four children, three hermit crabs and two sugar gliders, so we need to make sure we get a dog with the right temperament.

2. I had loads of fun last week with Fel at Fel’s Got Swag. If you want to improve the copy on your website or any type of writing coaching, she is your go-to gal.

3. I love that my sweet daughter cooked dinner for us several nights this week and gave me a much-needed break.

4. I love that my children did so well in school this year.  They all had teachers who really cared about them and they all made me proud. I love that they all love to read, which was on my major goals for them.

5.  I love that we only have 4 more days of school. We are all ready for a break from the routine. Then, we are going to do a trial run of homeschooling this summer to see how it works for us before we commit.

6. I love that we had a fun family night shopping at the Asian market and we bought some fun things to cook. I’m looking forward to making bubble tea this week.

7. I love that I’m learning how to make audios and videos and all kinds of fun things.  I’m excited that I’m going to be giving away some fun, free audios on Daily Alchemy very soon.

8.I love the Insights reading that Janette Dalgliesh did for me. She does numerology from a LOA perspective  and I was amazed how much valuable information she was able to give me.  The reading was an hour-long audio and all of it was spot on and she gave me some great things to focus on.

9. I love that I’m having fun learning how to use Instagram and all the cool collage apps they have for it.  If you want to connect with me there so we can see each other’s pictures, I’m at

10. I love all the people I’ve met while doing Daily Alchemy, here on the blog and on Facebook, Twitter, Etc.  I’ve met the nicest most uplifting people and you are all such blessing in my life.

I’d love to hear what’s going right for you. To prove it, I’m giving away one of my Angel Card readings (see service page) to one of my commenters during the month of June. I’ll put everyone’s name in and choose a winner to be announced here around July 1st. Then I’ll email the winner with the details if I have access to their e-mail or you can check back here around the first and e-mail me if you’re the winner.

The winner for the month of May is…Crystal Nuding!

If you would like to get one of my angel card readings and you don’t want to wait to win it, you can head over to fiverr and but one for just five bucks, but I’m not sure how long I’m going to keep this going.

Love and Transformation,

I *love* that your daughter cooks you dinner, too!

I love that I fulfilled my work obligations so I have a free week to honor the joy of creative expression as we move through a lot of transitioning (we are moving, and it is the children’s last week of school). I love that it’s overcast today, so the kids can enjoy school without wishing they were at the beach! And, I love Instagram and Skype–expands my world in so many ways…

  • Michelle Dobbins says:

Joy, I love that you have a free week to transition! Happy moving and end of the school year. I love that you guys are going on to new adventures in a new home and I’m intending a smooth transition for you. I’m just learning skype and instagram, even thought I signed up for both six months ago, but I’m having fun playing with them and learning. 🙂

  • Awesome! Thank you so much, Michelle! I can’t wait to experience your Angel card readings.
We spent a wonderful week-end helping one of my sisters move into her new place. We got home on Sunday just in time for my sweet son Quentin’s surprise visit. I never know when he’ll show up, so it was great to see his face. 🙂

    • Michelle Dobbins says:

Crystal, Thanks! I can’t wait to do a reading for you. How wonderful that you timed it perfect for your son’s visit! 🙂

Michelle, I’m so excited for you that you’re going to give homeschooling a trial run! I’ve home schooled my son from day one and we’re happy with our decision. Ron Paul has a curriculum coming out in Sept. called, sounds fantastic! You might want to check it out.

My big rave for the day is that I was able to heal my my mom’s ear. She has tinnitis and it was really bothering her. After my healing work, she’s back to normal. I’m so happy about that!

I love that I’m getting a new desk from our neighbor, after I just told myself I wanted a new, more functional one.

I love that I learned so much about essential oils and how they are so good for different health conditions.

I’m so happy that my mom has a new, cute dog to keep her company. She loves her so much.

I love this windy day! It’s so windy, you can barely stand erect sometimes. It feels so good!

I love the book I’m reading, “The Magic”, by Rhonda Byrne, author of “The Secret”. It shows you how to put even more gratitude and raving into your life to make it even more magical.

Hold on to your hats for this one: I love my boobs! After reading an article about boobs,, and how we should appreciate them and take care of them, I see them in a whole different way. And size DOES NOT matter.

    🙂 <3

Thanks so much for sharing your list! I love it! I love the article on boobs! I breastfed for 6 years (3 of those years I was nursing two at a time) and I gained great respect for my boobs. I am super pro-active about loving them.

I’m so excited about home-schooling. I always wanted to do it, but was afraid I couldn’t give my oldest enough attention when she started school because her three younger siblings were in diapers. Then, when we moved our business out of our home, I didn’t think I could do it because I had to work some hours away from home. I, also, want our younger kids to be fluent in Spanish as my older daughter is from attending a language academy. I finally realized that I could do it my way and hire a spanish speaking tutor for the 12-15 hours a week I work and homeschool, let my kids learn Spanish, and work the hours I need to. We don’t have to follow how someone else does things and we can do it in a way that works for us.

Thanks for sharing the curriculum, too! 🙂
